Ta-daaa!
Wie ich schon mehrfach erwähnte, hat sich Paul G. dankenswerterweise bereit erklärt, sich sein altes u6edit tool nochmals vorzunehmen, um zu versuchen, den bisher nicht funktionierenden Bilderimport doch noch ans Fliegen zu kriegen. Wie es aussieht, hatte er Erfolg 😀 – es gibt zwar noch ein paar kleine Stolpersteine, aber zumindest habe ich es schon mal geschafft das Logo des Startbildschirms zu ändern. Dabei habe ich das originale hellblaue Logo des Spiels gleichzeitig durch die etwas moderner anmutende Gestaltung des Schriftzugs auf der Spieleverpackung ersetzt. Ich hoffe, ich trete damit keinem der Oldskool Enthusiasten auf die Füße 🙂

As I mentioned before, kind Paul G. has spent quite some more time and effort to improve his most handy u6edit tool and got the picture import to be working finally.
Accordingly I was now able to replace some of the original graphics, and – I have to admit – it is not entirely without pride, that the intro screen now has a German and updated logo. I hope not to be stepping on anyone’s toes with my decision to use the colours of the original box art instead of the somewhat dated bright-blue colours of the original “Ultima” logo.
